We had a wonderful experience with Weaverland Puppies. Beth was very responsive to my emails and then texts- answering all of my questions, and asking me questions about our situation too. (A sign of a good breeder- they want to make sure their puppies are going to good homes.) She sent me videos and photos to make me feel secure in driving the 4 1/2 hours to her location. It was so worth it when I got there- I fell in love with our Lily girl. It’s obvious she has been very well socialized with people and other dogs. She has a great energy- not too high (as some pwds can be), but not skittish or fearful either. She is a dream puppy with an amazing temperament. Beth ensured we had her shot record, most recent vet exam form, some information about Portuguese Water Dogs (though we already have one at home), a bag of her food, her pedigree from AKC (as well as registration information), her parents genetic health tests, and of course our contract which includes a health guarantee. After having Lily home for a few days, Beth reached out to check on us and make sure everyone was adjusting well. I am so thrilled with our girl! Thank you, Beth!

Hi Beth,
This our second Christmas with Sunny and she wanted us to reach out and wish you happy holidays. She’s 20 months old. She’s the friendliest dog you’d ever want to meet. She loves everything and everyone. She even loves the garbage truck. She sits with her tail wagging at the front door as it approaches. So cute. We met one of her brothers from a litter the year before she was born, by happenstance, this summer at an ice cream parlor. (Funnily enough, his name is Sonny.) We also had an experience where a person in their car stopped to ask if Sunny was a PWD. We said "yes." The person immediately replied, “This is a puupy from Weaverland Puppies, right?!” We thought you would like to know that people recognize your dogs. -Vicki

We just had a day with our puppy and are enjoying him so much. We named our boy River. He will live in India with us, It was a complicated process but Beth at Weaverland Puppies was so helpful and I could not imagine doing this with anyone else. Maddie is doing great. Seems like she is halfway to being housebroken. Has never gone in her crate at night and very few house accidents. She is very spunky, smart and much loved and mouthy. -Karin and Rich

Hi Beth, it's Arlene. I hope my text finds you and your lovely family well. You requested one picture of May Day at a year. Well, it's just too difficult to send one of our very special and bright May Day. She is extremely strong, the strongest Portie I have ever had, she is muscular, she is extremely competitive. She absolutely works so hard at everything does. She enjoys our wooded area and finds the stinkiest gunk to roll in. We take her to the beach, her sisters swim but she is not sure of all the waves nor the swimming pool. We will get there. She loves both her sisters and is the perfect imitator of them. She is the largest female portie I've had. Today she helped herself to my steak lunch Ken had sitting in the middle of the counter, the first time she ever helped herself. The best way to describe her is - her love. She is full of love, her sisters gets constant kisses- their
faces, their ears and she actually will put her arm around them if they are lying next to her. She is the absolute sweetest with Ken, myself, the kids and company. She just hangs on for the head rub, bum scratch or for a look in your eye. What can I say, she is very loving. The other description is - she is a gorgeous dog. I wish I had a penny for every time a stranger comes up and comments on her beauty. She holds herself so

We are so in LOVE! Things are great- she us a wonderful puppy! She has learned to sit, down, shake paws, and walk on her leash. She sleeps in her crate from 9 p.m. til 5 or 6 a.m. and is great about telling us when she needs to go potty. She loves to chew and sometimes we are the target, but she is getting so much better about listning and not biting. She loves the water and the boat rides. We are so grateful for such a sweet girl!!!

Our dog is happy and healthy and loved beyond belief. We wanted to let you know he is a star!! He played the part of Bram Stoker's dog in an off-Broadway play recently. And even got a credit in the playbill. He signed another contract for a theatrical play this coming year. I think we all should be proud of him. Thank you so much Beth.

My name is Alex, we bought Boomer almost a year ago and I just wanted to follow up as his first birthday is approaching and we are very excited to celebrate with him. This brought you and your family to my mind and I just wanted to say thank for your hospitality that day and sharing so much joy and love with our family. He is certainly the heart of our family and is so loved and loves us in return so greatly. We take him everywhere with us and plan vacations and day trips around him and make sure he can come and be with us always. He has become another one of our sons and sees our children as his brothers as well. He. Wants to play, eat, be near them, and cuddle with them always. I wish i could share all the pictures of this past year, but here is just a few from our family farm. He has brought so much love and joy and happiness in our home. Thank you!!

Leroy is doing great, he grew very fast and is up to full size according to our most recent vet visit and is 52lbs. He has tons of energy and loves to be playing inside and outside all day long. We have done lots of training with him, as he is very smart and picks up new things quickly. My wife and I love him and Leroy has become a great addition to our family.

I am so pleased with selecting my Portie from Weaverland-Beth Weaver Puppies. My puppy, Stella Marie, is a happy, well adjusted portie. She's smart, happy, a people pleaser and so lovable. It is worth noting that I didn't hesitate in selecting this breeder. They are family centered and the dogs appeared to be very happy and quite healthy. When I opened the crate to receive my portie she was so sweet and caring. We connected immediately and are now inseparable. She is very healthy and these findings are supported by her veterinarian.

I would say Beth raises well cared for family oriented puppies. She communicated well during the whole buying process and is knowledgeable about the breed. She is very flexible when it comes to visiting the puppies. Both pups parents are on site for reference which I loved. You can tell Beth loves her pups.

Getting our dog from Weaverland Puppies was the best decision we could have made. From initial contact to after we picked our puppy up, Beth was responsive, friendly, and extremely helpful. Any question was answered immediately. Payment was easy and secure. Beth is flexible and easy to work with.
When the day came to pick our puppy up.. he was bathed, cleaned and happy as could be. All important documents and information were in a folder and given to us along with a bag of food the puppy had been eating.
At our vet visit a week after taking our puppy home.. our vet was extremely impressed with our puppies weight, health status, and documents we had in hand provided by Weaverland Puppies.
Our puppy is calm, extremely friendly to people and other dogs, and is an amazing listener. He has only had two accidents inside in one week of being home.

Buoy is 11 weeks and is an amazing puppy. He’s very affectionate, loves being around people as well as other dogs. His temperament is perfect, very curious in new situations but also cautious. He’s very quick to learn commands and can already come and sit when asked. We’ve introduced him to water by taking him on a boat and letting him run on the beach, which he loves!
We had a very positive experience with Beth at Weaverland Puppies. She was professional, flexible and always had a timely response to our questions. She supplied us with all of his medical records and a litter certificate from the American Kennel Club. Beth also followed up with us two days after we brought Buoy home to see how he was adjusting. I highly recommend her as a breeder and Portuguese Water Dogs if you’re looking for a loving affectionate family dog.

It's hard to believe it's almost 6 weeks since we picked up our puppy, but time flies when you're having fun. And he really is a lot of fun. We wanted to send along this note and encourage you to use us as a reference if you intend to breed dogs in the future. We have been very pleased from the day we brought Barney, our puppy, home with us.
Of course he's a puppy, so he has a lot to learn. But his personality and disposition are just phenomenal, as he is outgoing and friendly with everyone he meets. Our neighbors, who are all dog owners and lovers, just adore him and frequently visit just to play with him. Our yard is fenced, but on two sides we have neighbors with dogs & Barney just loves to meet up with them at the fence. He's been very healthy to this point, and is putting on weight as expected. And he's very smart - he's learned a number of tricks already and is really well adjusted for a 4 1/2 month old puppy. Obviously the breed has a lot to do with his outgoing personality - he's our second dog, so we're familiar with the friendly disposition. But we also believe that the environment that he first experienced in your home had a tremendously positive impact in his overall personality. Your home is filled with warmth and love, and your children obviously lavished attention on these puppies. At a very early age these pups learned to interact with a family and with children, and we believe that has to have a very favorable impact on their overall character and disposition. Although my wife and I are empty-nesters as our children are grown and have moved away, we have had dogs in our family for almost 30 years. We are quite comfortable recommending your litters to anyone who is looking for a puppy - whether it's middle-aged folks like us or families with children. The only thing we encourage people to consider is that the breed itself requires a lot of time and attention, just because they are so outgoing and affectionate. And also, it's important that the dogs have plenty of exercise - either a big yard or someone who is willing to invest a substantial amount of time in making sure the dog gets its exercise. So, I guess in closing, we just want to say Thank You, Beth, for doing such a wonderful job of breeding and raising such a great puppy. I was interested in finding a female puppy and located one through Greenfield Puppies website. Unfortunately, when I contacted that breeder she informed me that one was reserved. The breeder referred me to the Weavers and I contacted them. Right from the first phone conversation, I was impressed with the ease of the short time matching me with a dog. They said that they had a female available and sent me her picture. From the moment that I saw Sugar, now Josi, I knew that she was the one. The Weavers were flexible with the confirmation and pick-up. They were comfortable with me picking up Sugar my niece and I was driving home to Massachusetts from South Carolina. The meeting went great; Josi was in great shape and ready for travel. They gave me a bag of the puppy food that she had been eating, some water, and all her records and papers, all of which were up to date.
The ride home was surprisingly easy; Josi spent most of the way home sleeping on my niece's lap. A few days after arriving home I took Josi to my local vet for a checkup. The vet told me that Josi was in fine health; she only had to administer the required shots. It’s been six months since Josi has been with us and I couldn’t be happier with her. A huge thank you to the Weavers, I would highly recommend them.
