Our sprawling country home is surrounded by spacious fields and trickling streams. We have large yards on every side of us, making it a perfect haven for our pets. Our dogs spend hours running and romping through the wide-open spaces. Our children love to play fetch with them until they're worn out. Then they flop under a tree to sit together, and our children can cuddle them and dote on them.

The bright and happy Portuguese Water Dog was bred to be an all-around fisherman's helper. This breed is super smart and very biddable; they are easy to train and eager to please. We commonly share our puppies with people who are boating enthusiasts, folks who have a beach house or live near a lake, or to happy customers who just want a companion for the swimming pool. What do we love best about our Portuguese Water Dogs? They are GREAT family dogs, have tender, happy-go-lucky personalities, and are gentle with our littlest children. They are always excited to go on a long walk or take a swim in the nearby pond. Our dogs are not a large size, but weigh around 40 to 50 pounds. This means we can pick them up or hold them in our laps.
